Important Dates for 2026 - 2027 

• Aug 20    First day of class

• Oct 15     Fall Break – no class

• Nov 26    Thanksgiving break – no class

• Dec 10    Last day of Fall semester

• Jan 7       First day of Spring Semester

• Feb 18    Winter Break – no class

• Apr 1      Spring Break -  no class

• May 6     Last day of class

• May 13 Make up day (if class is cancelled 3x or more)

It’s impossible to schedule breaks to accommodate everyone’s schedules. Homeschool families have complex schedules.  If these breaks do not coincide with other breaks, never fear, assignments can be completed at home. 

I endeavor to stick to my plans and hold class each week, but situations can crop up like inclement weather, sickness, and family emergencies.  In the 15 years I’ve been teaching, I’ve missed only two days due to sickness and family emergencies.  I’m praying that this year will be situational free.
