AAO is an organization within AFROTC Detachment 075 dedicated to forging cadets into rated officers in the United States Air Force and promoting interest in the rated career fields.
The Aztec Aviation Organization provides cadets with access to mentorship from Rated Selects and professional aviators.
Cadets will gain valuable, competitive skills through AAO's free ground school, and simulator training
AAO also offers cadets the chance to compete for flying scholarships, and take rides in aircraft such as the T-34, KC-135, C-17!
AAO often coordinates with nearby active duty and reserve squadrons to hold exclusive tours. These tours have included aircraft such as the F-22, F-18, and A-10!
AAO takes pride in giving cadets not only an effective way of achieving their goals, but an effective way that is built around community. Cadets that join our organization are apart of a group of like minded individuals that love to work hard, and have fun!
The Aztec Aviation Organization sets cadets on the path towards achieving a rated career slot. Throughout a cadet's time in ROTC several challenges need to be conquered to achieve a rated slot. Below is a timeline of typical events that will begin that journey. These events, in addition to others, will be accomplished throughout the course of your 4 or 5 years in ROTC. AAO will guide cadets through each one of these hurdles, and ensure that they have the resources to achieve their dreams.
