What is it?

AAO offers scheduled ground school lessons to it's members on a weekly basis. We teach, train, and test students on the fundamentals of VFR flight in engaging, supportive, and teamwork-oriented environments.

Ground school helps students on their journey to a Private Pilot's License (PPL). After completing the ground school curriculum, students are encouraged to take their FAA written examination. A PPL or flight hours make cadets more desirable when applying to aeronautically rated (Pilot, CSO, RPA, ABM) positions.
