Knight's Tour Revisited

Knight's Moves

If the board is flat, chess knight jumps from square to square as in usual chess game - 2 squares in any direction plus 1 square aside.

In our game the square(tile) disappears as soon as knight jumps away from it. If we have one layer - we got a hole, where knight can not step over once more.

But now imagine a board with three layers.

When a tile disappears, there is another tile, but one layer below. Knight can jump on it from any tile, if only his moving pattern holds - 2 plus 1. If knight jumps from layer above, he can make 2 moves on that layer and then step down to layer below.

If a tile has been stepped over on two layers, third layer still exists. And knight can jump there, making 1 square on the first layer, folowing by two vertical layers down.

You can investigate all available moves switching ON hints in game's settings.

Score

If setting "Timed Game" is OFF, each tile earns you one point. If ON and you make move in 1 second, you get 2 points (3 seconds per move - minus move time). If in timed game you make move in more than 3 seconds, you get one point.
