Tips & Instructions

First Things First:

• If your plant is being shipped to your house, gently, one by one, pull out all of the plants in the package and remove the shredded paper that is holding the soil in the pot
• A white mold may appear on top of the soil due to the depletion of air. Just give the plant a little bit of air circulation and the mold will disappear

Location:

• Place the plants in a shaded and ventilated area and water thoroughly if dry
• Don't expose new plants to temperatures below 50°F, too much sun, or wind

Potting:

• Some plants will have to be repotted soon; tight root balls are a good indication. Wait at least ONE WEEK to repot your plants after you receive them
• Before repotting, choose a pot slightly larger than the old one and make sure there is a drainage hole. Avoid planting small plants directly in the ground
• We do not recommend repotting plants during winter
• Do not repot small plants that do not need to be repotted
• Do not repot plants that have dropped all leaves or suffered from transit, wait until they fully recover

Damage:

• Even though we do our best in packaging your plants, occasionally some plants may arrive with a few broken branches. Most plants should recover and grow back. Notify us with a photo within 7 days if you have any concerns.
• Due to being confined in a box for a couple of days, some plants may arrive with yellow leaves or have a significant leaf drop. This is normal and the plants should recover and re-sprout new leaves. Do not repot plants until they fully recover. Please send a photo immediately if concerned
