Ingredients:
- 1 Cup Milk Powder
- 1 Tablespoon All-Purpose Flour
- 1 Teaspoon Baking Powder
- 1 Tablespoon Fresh Cream
- 1 Tablespoon Oil
- 1 Large Egg
- 1 Cup Sugar
- 2 Cups Water
- 3-4 Green Cardamom Pods
- Chopped Pistachios (for garnish)
- Splash of Rose Water (optional)
Instructions:
Step 1: Make Sugar Syrup
1. Combine 2 cups water, 1 cup sugar, and 3-4 crushed cardamom in a pot.
2. Heat until sugar dissolves, then simmer for 10 minutes. Add rose water if desired.
Step 2: Prepare Dough
1. Sift 1 cup milk powder, 1 tablespoon flour, and 1 teaspoon baking powder in a bowl.
2. Add 1 tablespoon oil and 1 tablespoon fresh cream. Mix.
3. Beat 1 egg and combine with the mixture until smooth.
Step 3: Shape Gulab Jamuns
1. Quickly form 15-16 small balls from the dough.
Step 4: Fry
1. Heat oil in a wok over medium heat.
2. Fry the balls until golden brown (about 5-7 minutes).
Step 5: Soak in Syrup
1. Transfer fried gulab jamuns to the warm syrup.
2. Cover and let soak for 15 minutes.
Step 6: Serve
1. Plate the gulab jamuns.
2. Garnish with chopped pistachios and drizzle with syrup.
