Ayaz Razmjooei
About Me
My name is Ayaz Razmjooi. I was born in 1976 in Shiraz, Iran, and have lived in Sweden since 2008.
After 22 years of continuous work as a mathematics teacher in both Iranian and Swedish schools, as a special education teacher in mathematics development, as a researcher in educational practice, and several years as a Persian mother-tongue teacher and study mentor, I decided to take a leave of absence for other reasons. During that time, I chose to try something new and founded the educational company Läria. I am now dedicated to sharing my experience and knowledge with children and teachers around the world.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Iran, a Master’s degree in Mathematics Education, and a second Master’s degree in Special Education with a focus on mathematics development from Sweden. My particular expertise is working with children with diverse learning needs, especially neurodiverse children with autism and ADHD.
I am proud to have been awarded the Helge Prize in Sweden in 2025 for my innovative methods in teaching arithmetic.
My vision is that all children, regardless of where they live, should be able to develop to their full potential and build strong confidence in mathematics so they can thrive in any society. I also want them to experience learning with joy and curiosity — not through pressure or force.
