The Mathematics club in collaboration with Basic Science and Humanities Department of Dr. Sudhir Chandra Sur Institute of Technology and Sports Complex is organizing a five days long offline workshop on the Machine Learning in application with R software.
Overview of the workshop:
The workshop will cover lectures and hands-on sessions on the following topics.
Environmental Data, and Statistics
Statistical Methods and Inference
Introduction to R software
Introduction to Networking
Classification and Regularization, etc.

Schedule of the Workshop
Participants can find the schedule of the workshop beside this window. The workshop will start from 11 am regularly and it will end at 4.30 pm everyday except on Monday.
Route Map to reach the Venue
The venue is situated at Surer Math, Dumdum near to Dumdum Junction railway station and Dumdum Metro Station.
The Participants willing to avail north south Metro railways is advised to take a metro to Dumdum Metro station and take an auto-rickshaw ride from the stand outside the station and get off at the stoppage name 'Surer Math'. From that stoppage walk straight for 3 minutes to reach at the institute.
From Sealdah railway station one can take any train from the north section and get off at the Dumdum railway station. The rest of the route map is same as directed above.
The Participants travelling from Howrah Railway Station can take any bus of the Nagerbazar route and get down at the stoppage named Nager Bazar crossing. The Auto Rikshaw stand is nearby. One can take a auto rickshaw ride and get off at the stoppage Surer Math.
Accommodation
Accommodation is available on twin sharing basis at the Institute Campuses. The charge of accommodation is different from the workshop registration fees and is subjected to terms and conditions
