Science outreach is a fundamental pillar of Alpha Chi Sigma’s mission to promote education and engagement, reflecting the fraternity’s core values. Our flagship outreach event is the Chemistry Merit Badge Program, designed for the Boy Scouts of America. This program offers students an exciting opportunity to delve into the world of chemistry through hands-on experiments, lab tours, interactive presentations, and career panels featuring our brothers who are actively involved in STEM fields. By sparking curiosity and enthusiasm for science, the program not only helps participants earn their chemistry badge but also provides valuable insights into potential career paths in STEM.

In addition to the Merit Badge Program, Alpha Chi Sigma also organizes and participates in various community outreach events. One of our notable contributions is the KITES Science and Engineering Festival, where our members present dynamic science demonstrations and interactive activities. Having participated in the festival previously, we are excited to return this semester to inspire and engage even more budding scientists.
