Alpha Chi Sigma (AXΣ or AXS) is a professional chemistry fraternity – an organization whose goal is to promote the interests of the chemical profession in all forms. Membership is for life and is open to collegiate undergraduate and graduate students who possess a strong interest in advancing the chemical sciences. Being a professional fraternity, AXΣ aims to bridge the divide between the collegiate and professional, allowing members to experience firsthand the kind of work they will encounter in their careers in STEM. This is accomplished through professional and service activities, such as our Merit Badge Clinic for Scouts of America. Students from all majors are welcome to join. Our brotherhood currently includes members from Chemistry, Biochemistry, ChBE, Biology, BME, EAS, MSE, and more!
