Alpha Chi Sigma (AXΣ) is a professional chemistry fraternity - an organization whose goal is to promote the interests of the chemical profession in all its forms. Membership is open to collegiate and professional men and women who possess a strong interest in chemistry and is for life. Being a professional fraternity, AXΣ aims to bridge the divide between the collegiate and professional, allowing members to experience firsthand the kind of work they will encounter in their careers as chemists. This is accomplished through Professional and Service Activities, such as our joint project with the Boy Scouts of America. All majors are welcome to join. This includes Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, CHBE, BME, EAS, MSE, all majors on the Pre-Med track, and more!
