AI-Driven Optimal Design of Bimetallic Steel Composite Columns

This project develops an AI-driven design framework for stainless-clad bimetallic steel composite columns. Bayesian active learning and FEM-based surrogate modeling are integrated with reliability analysis and design optimization to enable efficient prediction of structural performance and cost-optimal design.

본 연구는 스테인리스 클래드 이중강관 합성기둥의 AI 기반 설계 기술 개발을 목표로 합니다. Bayesian 능동학습과 FEM 기반 서로게이트 모델을 신뢰도 해석 및 최적설계와 결합하여 구조성능을 효율적으로 예측하고, 신뢰도를 만족하는 비용 최적 설계 체계를 구축합니다.

Structural Performance of Lunar Regolith Sintered Blocks

This project investigates the structural performance of lunar regolith sintered tetrapod blocks under high-pressure and high-velocity loads generated during spacecraft landing. Advanced numerical simulations are used to evaluate the contact behavior, stability, and collapse mechanisms of stacked blocks, providing fundamental design insights for lunar landing pads and protective structures.

본 연구는 우주선 착륙 시 발생하는 고압·고속 하중에 노출되는 월면토 소결 테트라포드 블록의 구조적 성능을 규명하는 것을 목표로 합니다. 정밀 수치해석을 통해 적층 블록의 접촉 거동, 안정성 및 붕괴 메커니즘을 분석하고, 달 착륙장 및 방호 구조물 설계를 위한 기초 자료를 제시합니다.

Biochar-Incorporated Structural Concrete Development

This project develops carbon-sequestering concrete using biochar-based graphene and explores its application in structural components. The research focuses on enhancing carbon sequestration while evaluating the material and structural performance of the developed concrete for sustainable construction applications.

본 연구는 바이오차 기반 그래핀을 활용한 탄소격리 콘크리트를 개발하고 구조부재로의 활용 가능성을 규명하는 것을 목표로 합니다. 개발된 콘크리트의 탄소격리 성능과 재료·구조적 성능을 평가하여 지속가능한 건설 구조물에 적용하기 위한 기반 기술을 구축합니다.
