Title: The Pentagram Map and Gale Transform

Abstract: The Pentagram map takes any n-gon P to a corresponding n-gon P' formed from the intersection points of the diagonals connecting every other vertex of P. Since the pentagram map results in a new polygon we can take this map again which results in a sequence of polygons P, P', P'',.... I am interested in for which types of polygons are P and P^(i) protectively equivalent. In this talk I will cover several cases and conjectures for when this is true. In doing so I will also introduce the Gale transform and how it relates to the pentagram map.
