About AWSiM 20222

The Arizona Women's Symposium in Mathematics (AWSIM) will be the the first state-wide conference in Arizona where women mathematicians in Arizona will share their work in a supportive and collaborative environment to network and form professional and mentoring relationships, discuss issues and challenges about being a woman in mathematics, and discuss short- and long-term action plans on increasing recruitment and retention of women studying mathematics in our respective institutions. This conference would be a starting point for the mathematical community in Arizona, whose work and collaboration will continue after the conference.
