Wahaj Abbas Awan

attained his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from COMSATS University Islamabad, Sahiwal campus, Pakistan, in 2019. Subsequently, he joined the Department of Integrated IT Engineering at Seoul National University of Science and Technology, Seoul, Republic of Korea, where he spent the period from 2019 to 2021. Currently, he is enrolled in the MS-Ph.D. Integrated Program within the Department of Information and Communication Engineering at Chungbuk National University, Cheongju, Republic of Korea. Concurrently, he holds the position of Research Associate (RA) at the Optical Information Processing (OIP) laboratory, overseen by Professor Nam Kim, and at the Smart Antenna Technologies (SAT) Laboratory, under the supervision of Dr. Niamat Hussain. With an extensive scholarly portfolio, Awan has authored over 80 peer-reviewed articles in esteemed conferences and journals. Furthermore, he has served as a guest editor for notable publications such as Micromachines (MDPI), contributing to special issues on "Recent Advancements in Flexible, Reconfigurable, and Wearable Antennas for 5G and Beyond", and Electronics (MDPI), focusing on "Recent Research in Reconfigurable Antenna and Metasurfaces for 5G and Beyond". In addition to his editorial contributions, Awan actively participates in the academic community as a reviewer for various esteemed international journals, including but not limited to MDPI-Sensors, MDPI-Micromachines, MDPI-Applied Sciences, MDPI-Electronics, Journal of Infrared, Millimeter, and Terahertz Waves, Scientific Reports, RadioEngineering, and PLoS One.
