Hi Cubbies Families!

5/13 is our End of Year Celebration and Grand Prix. We are so excited!!! We'll have dinner for families, awards in the Sanctuary, and then head down to the Fellowship Hall to race Hot-Wheel type cars.  We can't wait to celebrate all of the hard work our sweet Cubbies have put into learning their verses this year!

Important Notes for Tonight!

• Get your name tags from the kiosks before dinner

• After dinner, have Cubbies take a potty break before drop-off (super important!)

• THEN Sign-in with me in the Sanctuary, where they sit during pickup. 

• Cubbies will pick out their hot wheel

• Then they'll sit in the pews with their color groups during awards

• Parents can find a seat in the audience.

• When it's our turn for awards:

  • • • we will bring the Cubbies up in 3 rows (by their color group)

      • I'll do an intro and we'll sing our Cubbies song

      • I'll pass out participation certificates and book completion awards (alphabetical by color group) 

      • Cubbies will return to their pews until awards are over

      • Parents will pickup their Cubbie after awards and bring them down to the fellowship hall (down the stairs by the piano) for the hot wheels race. We have a bracket set up for Cubbies, so please have them ready and listening for their name to be called to race.

      • Cubbies will each receive a Grand Prix participation ribbon

***Cubbies will be under parent supervision during dinner and after awards (in the fellowship hall for races)

We have been so blessed by your Cubbies each week this year and we are going to miss them tremendously over the summer!  

If they would like to continue saying verses they missed and work towards finishing their handbook this summer, please feel free to email me videos of them saying their verses and I'll keep up with their progress and awards!
