Pre-Ph.D.

Pre-Ph.D. Research Work is Focused on the Development of Adaptive Optics Technologies for Long Range Imaging.

Major outcome of research work are:

  • Performance evaluation of Shack-Hartmann wavefront sensor, Deformable mirrors, Tip-tilt mirror, and Atmospheric turbulence simulators.
  • Development of deformable mirror based wavefront compensation algorithms and its validation with atmospheric turbulence simulators.
  • Developed multiple tools for generating the atmospheric-like-turbulence in the laboratory.
  • Developed a MATLAB based offline video processing methodology for estimating the various atmospheric turbulence parameters.
