Biography

Dr. Awakash Dixit obtained his Ph.D. (Physics) from DRDO-Instruments Research & Development Establishment/Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun, India and M.Sc. (Electronics) from UIET, CSJM University, Kanpur, India. He worked as a Senior Research Fellow in IRDE, Dehradun, India. He completed his post-doctoral studies on the development of high-power laser beam combining testbed at IIT Madras, Chennai. Currently, he is working as a senior scientist at the Joint Advanced Technology Centre, IIT Delhi. He has ten years of research and development experience in advanced technologies with more than forty publications in various peer-reviewed journals and conferences of international repute.

Dr. Dixit is a EC member of Optical Society of America, USA and fellow member of the Optical Society of India, Indian Laser Association, Astronomical Society of India, Indian Science Congress Association, International Academy of Science and Engineering for Development, International Association of Engineers, Hongkong and Associate member of Metrology Society of India.
