today (7/23/24) I collected water samples from my stream and soil samples from around my house. It rained all morning and it was really cold so that wasn't fun but my stream did have more water today. I thought with the rain and my stream moving faster than the last couple days that I would find macroinvertebrates this time but still zero. The trash that was there yesterday was gone so it either got picked up or is in another stream/river.
