For the past 20 years, Karen has dedicated herself to serving AVUSD--with the last 2 years serving as the AVUTA President. Serving as the Chapter President is both challenging and rewarding, but above all, it is about striving to improve our district, building trusting relationships, and providing advocacy and support where needed.

Leslie is in her 40th year of teaching. She works as a Reading Specialist at Vanguard Preparatory School. As Vice President she assists the President in any way she can. She also serves as the Lead Negotiator.

Chrystal brings 18 years of service to AVUSD in middle and high school experience. As a dedicated AVUTA member, Chrystal has seen the impact of effective representation and aims to continue contributing to our union's success.

Amy has been teaching in the AVUSD for the past 10 years. She enjoys encouraging students and seeing their successes. Amy has over 15 years of experience in the banking industry. Working with the AVUTA allows her to be more involved in the community she loves.

Adrienne's career began 10 years ago with 6 years spent in AVUSD. Adrienne is looking forward to representing PS-6 teachers as a fellow TK teacher at Rancho Verde, and making our school sites a better place!

Wendy has been a teacher and AVUTA member for 35 years. She has served AVUTA as a site representative for several years and now is our PS-8 Director and Grievance Chair.
