AVUTA will be conducting elections for the Executive Board positions listed below. Each of these positions comes with a stipend. Please take a moment to review the job duties associated with each position, and please note that fulfilling these duties is necessary to receive the stipend.

The Apple Valley Unified Teachers Association (AVUTA) will be holding its election for the offices of:

Terms as Follows:

Vice President (July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2027)

Treasurer (July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2027)

HS Segment Director (July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2027)

PS-8 Segment Director (July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2027)

Elections will be held April 15th, 2025 - April 24th, 2025

Declaration of candidacy opens Friday, March 28, 2025 until Monday, April 7, 2025 at 11:59 pm EST.

Names on the ballot will be listed in the order of the CTA alphabet for the 2024-2025 year:

In the event that the last name of more than one candidate begins with the same letter or more than one candidate has the same last name, the CTA alphabetical order shall continue to be applied throughout the name, including the first name. [Revised 6/05, 6/06]
