Sharing with you two different characteristic of students' I encounter over the weeks which taught me a lot of lessons.
The Naughty One's
I do have a problem with handling my patience. Yes, you read it right. I am one of those people who has the shortest patience in all aspects of my life. I hate, waiting, hates arguing with others and more. But the moment I encounter these students, my patience has been tested over the weeks I am observing them. They practically getting into my nerves and that annoys me most. This particular section in grade 7 did not just test me but taught me a lesson I needed in this field of teaching. I never thought that their behavior will help me pass the test to longer my patienece. I instead, thank them for giving me so much of that characteristic I lacked.
The Good One's
These particular section in grade 7 has somehow the characteristics I ever wanted to have as my future students. I never thought that in my entire classroom observation and assistantship I will be able to have bond with these students'. They are the complete opposite of the other sections because they will listen to your class discussion in short, they are all ears. The moment we enter the class they give us a good welcoming face and that is more than enough for us they give a respect we ever needed.
The Smart One's
This grade 7 students' maybe naughty, but they are smart. I never thought that they hide their abilities by being so noisy and playful because when the time that they are given the activity, they are way more serious and active. I am amazed by their different skills in class and that had thought me that not all learners' that never listens to your class nor giving much attention are the weak one's because you might be surprised by their abilities.
