Establshed as TEA UK by Belgium airline Trans European Airways (TEA) after acquiring the assets of Mediterranean Express, a short lived airline operating out of Manchester Airport between Spring and winter of 1987.
All three Boeing 737's were transferred to Belgium registration by end of 1990

November 1968: Gatwick charter flight airline, initially known as Bobwood, established following the collapse of Transglobe Airways operating former Transglobe Canadair CL-44-D4 aircraft.
January 1969: name changed to Tradewinds Airways
1977: acquired by the Lonrho Group and began replacing the CL44's with used Boeing 707-320C freighters.
28/09/1990: Ceased operations having insufficient funds to upgrade their 707's following new noise legislation

1959: Established at Swansea Airport operating charter flights In early 
1960: operations transferred to Coventry Airport
1961:  Name changed to Trans European Airways
May 1961: Based at Gatwick Airport and other main UK airports operating Lockheed Constellations for charters and inclusive tour flights to Mediterranean resorts. Also flights to West Berlin. 
August 1962: ceased operations
