Submissions to Aevum
Eligibility: At this time, submissions to Aevum are reserved for SLU Madrid and SLU Missouri students and alum.

Characteristics of Accepted Publications:
Publications are the original work of students or contributors
The content/topic deals with history or, more broadly, the humanities
The publication or article adheres to Chicago style citation and properly cites primary and secondary sources
Publications or articles have not plagiarized or used Artificial Intelligence to generate the content
The submitted article adheres to SLU Madrid’s standards and mission
First Stage of Peer Review: All publications have been reviewed by a student/alum member of the Aevum staff and have been judged to be a contribution to knowledge and adhere to the above characteristics.
Second Stage of Peer Review: The article is then sent to a faculty member for edits and further peer review.
Authorship Integrity: Authorship is only to be attributed to students or authors who have contributed to the piece of writing or the project.
