About Us

The founder of Avery Mountain Ranches, Ron Hofsess, and his wife, Kayleen, are lifelong residents of the area. Ron and Kayleen both graduated from Powers High School, and have been married over 50 years. Ron is a successful business owner; a few of his hobbies include fishing, hunting, and golfing. Kayleen was a teacher in the Powers School District and enjoys spending time with family (especially the granddaughter) and music related activities. 

Ron is a fully bonded, insured and licensed outfitter/guide in the state of Oregon.

All photos shown on this website were taken on Avery Mountain Ranches properties by your guide, Ron Hofsess. These animals are available for your hunting experience. Herds have been managed for trophy potential, a minimum of ten years, to prepare for this adventure. Throughout the year we spend hundreds of hours scouting the location of these and other game.
