As teachers we instinctively view new developments and changes – be it pedagogical issues, emerging educational approaches, technological innovation; in light of enhancing student learning. The Teaching Learning Center (TLC) is being established with the intention to bring together faculty and other professionals to share expertise, explore innovations, and discuss the challenges of teaching and learning across disciplines. It is an expression of the constant efforts made by our faculty to empower themselves with an understanding of how students learn, so as to effectively apply and adapt teaching strategies to students’ needs.
Objectives
Provide a platform for discussion and sharing of experiences with respect to Teaching and Learning.
Create awareness about new educational approaches and technology.
Help faculty enhance the learning experience for students and provide opportunities to enjoy teaching.
Be a resource for faculty members to deal with the ever growing challenges of teaching and learning.
Act as a repository for all TL online resources, relevant to us.
To define and recommend pedagogy and schemes of assessment appropriate for the curricular framework. *
TLC to conduct a short run (3 weeks) rigorous pre-induction programs for the new-entrants. *
