Role: President

Summary:

I served as the Cuesta College STEM Club president from Fall 2024 - Spring 2025. The previous year I was one of the founding members of the club, and the Recruitment Officer. I was able to recruit over 100 people to join the STEM Club in my team in leadership, and planned over 6 educational field trips throughout the years. 

Outside of the average Presidential duties, I also:

• Created an original merchandise design on Adobe Illustrator, and facilitated sales and distribution of merch.

• Created annual club budgets to present to Student Government to score funding for field trips

• Planned and hosted campus-wide STEM themed scavenger hunts

• Raised over a thousand dollars in creative fundraisers throughout the year 

• Held monthly social events such as movie nights, water balloon fights, barbecues and more

• Built a 5-foot volcano for a fall welcome event experiment. It also is sealed and reusable for outreach events planned at elementary schools.
