I have developed my BSc. and my Ph.D in the Milky Way. Specifically, I am interested in the Nuclear Bulge, which includes the Nuclear Stellar Disc, star clusters, and the Central Molecular Zone. I worked on NIR images to construct a high-spatial resolution extinction map and to compute the stellar mass of the stellar component of the Nuclear Bulge.
In 2017, I worked at the Astro-Engineering Center (AIUC) at PUC, collaborating on the design and manufacture of opto-mechanical components. Specifically, I designed and built steel supports for mirrors and echelle gratings for a prototype spectrograph called TARdYS. I utilized CAD/CAM tools to produce these pieces within the required tolerances for the process.
