Besides my academic life, participating in outreach activities is one of my favorites. So far, I've been part of several outreach iniciatives, that I tell you below briefly.
"ObservaMAS" is the outreach program of the Millenium Institute of Astrophysics, which I'm part of since 2018 until 2025, when it finished. Some of the activities we've done are:
Puerto de Ideas 2019, Antofagasta
Total solar eclipse 2019 in Cachiyuyo
Día del asteroide 2022 in Pueblito Las Vizcachas
A play for children called "8 minutos luz"
Plus, during pandemic lockdowns I participated in online activities, such as Instagram Live shows, and workshops for schools with kids of all levels.
With the Institute of Astrophysics (IA) I've participated in activities related to the total solar eclipse 2020, in Pucón, Chile.
Chile is a great place to do astronomy at all levels, including the turistic activities related with the exploration of the southern skies. I've guided many people while stargazing near Santiago, in observatories such as the Observatorio Astronómico Andino (OAA), Observatorio Pailalén, and Observatorios Cielos Chilenos.
