I am a member of the University Honors Program, the Accelerated Dietetics Program, and the Student Dietetics Association. I am apart of these programs and clubs because of my passion for my major and yearn to excel academically. I also love being apart of these groups because I get to meet and connect with amazing individuals and get to meet so many people from different paths of life. I also participate in group workout classes, to meet other like-minded individuals and have a fun time exercising. I am also a member of Catholic Bearcat where I have met some of my best friends, and participate in trips and group activities.
I am very passionate about self care and taking care of my body and mind, because it is my vessel for my entire life. To care for myself I love to eat healthy, go on walks, take naps and rest, lift weights, do pilates, and have self care days! I feel that when I take care of myself, I am able to then care more deeply for others and be a kinder person overall. I also absolutely love trying new coffee shops, cooking for others, and chatting for hours with the people I am closest with!
I am extremely close with my family and we do a ton of activities together! Some of these include traveling, hiking, frisbee golf, cooking, baking, and listening to music and dancing in our kitchen! I love them a ton and am forever thankful that I was blessed with them as my family, so I felt the need to include them. I also love all my friends and hanging out with people. Recently, I have been going to workout classes with friends, trying new recipes, exploring coffee shops and restaurants, and getting outside when I can, which are all very fun activities in my book.
