About Workshop
How should humans support automated vehicles when they need help from afar?
This workshop focuses on remote assistance for automated vehicles, exploring how human operators can effectively intervene when automation encounters uncertain or complex situations. Moving beyond the traditional notion of take-over, we will examine different forms of remote human intervention and discuss how user interfaces can support situation understanding, decision-making, communication, and scalable assistance across multiple vehicles.
