A Pair of Automorphic Workshops in 2022
Research Innovations & Diverse Collaborations
In the summer of 2022, the University of Oregon will host a graduate instructional workshop followed by a collaborative research workshop to promote diverse collaborations.
While both of these workshops focus on algebraic and p-adic aspects of automorphic forms, L-functions, and related topics, the two workshops are independent. Applicants are encouraged to apply for one or both of the workshops, and funding decisions will be determined separately for each.
Graduate Instructional Workshop
Arrival: July 24, 2022
Departure: July 30, 2022
5-day workshop consisting of mini-courses on the algebraic and p-adic theory of automorphic forms, L-functions, and related topics
Collaborative Research Workshop
Arrival: July 31, 2022
Departure: August 6, 2022
5-day workshop focused on facilitating diverse collaborations (especially with regard to gender) in this research area
Funding includes: NSF CAREER grant DMS-1751281, a conference grant from the NSA Mathematical Sciences Program,
a CAS Program Grant, and funding from the University of Oregon Mathematics Department
We are especially grateful to math department staff member Mary Brown and former math department staff members Elise Landry and Sherilyn Schwartz for their help.
