Monday: Monday was the Automated Admiralty’s 19th meeting, and everyone continued to make lots of progress as the competition is coming closer. Yash, with the assistance of Bennett, started to work on the portfolios for HÉRMIÓNE and EVA UNIT 13/MARK 1 (still undecided). The social media and graphic design team continued working together. Anthony finished the blog from last week as well as updated the parents about it. Anton continued working on the topper while Eve worked on the mascot and Sarah worked on the engineering notebook and Instagram. Moving on, the engineering and programming team continued to work together. Arnav, Jacob, and Paulie continued to test and drive their robot HÉRMIÓNE. Tyler and Zach also helped HÉRMIÓNE by programming the autonomous portion, to make the robot put the cubes in correct locations, as well as coding some Giro stuff. Daniel and Simon, with the assistance of Bennett and Jacob, stabilized the vertical “pulley” system on the robot EVA UNIT 13, as well as 3D printed and painted the box for the pulley. Finally, Kyle and Nathan attached a motor to the entrapment star to make it able to spin on the intake on their robot, MARK 1, and they also made sure that was connected to their controller.
Tuesday: Tuesday was the team's 20th meeting and everyone continued putting in their best effort! The social media and graphic design team, which consisted of Anthony, Anton, Eve, and Sarah for today, continued working together. Anthony, continued working on the blog for the website and parents while Anton continued working on the topper. Eve resumed working on the mascot, and Sarah worked on the engineering notebook and Instagram posts. Moving on, the programming and engineering team, which consisted of Arnav, Daniel, Jacob, Kyle, Nathan, Paulie, Simon, Tyler, Yash, and Zach for today, continued working together. Arnav, Jacob, and Paulie added cosmetics and fixed their sensor on the robot HÉRMIÓNE. Tyler and Zach, with some help from Paulie and Arnav, assisted HÉRMIÓNE by coding more for the autonomous portion. Daniel and Simon, with some help from Yash, programmed their robot EVA UNIT 13 for the autonomous portion. Finally, Kyle and Nathan worked on their 3D printed box and continued programming their autonomous portion on their robot MARK 1.
Thursday: Thursday’s meeting was the Automated Admiralty’s 22nd meet and we worked together and changed the format of our robot “course” after the competition was moved online. Arnav and Kyle, like stated above, redid the design of the fields together. Next, the graphic design and social media team, which consisted of Anthony, Anton, and Sarah for today, continued working together. Anthony and Anton continued working on the parent blog and topper, while Sarah completed the previous engineering notebook entries and continued to post on Instagram. Moving forward, the programming and engineering team, which consisted of Arnav, Daniel, Kyle, Paulie, Tyler, Yash, and Zach for today, continued working together. Arnav and Paulie reassembled HÉRMIÓNE’s claws, while Tyler and Zach programmed the movement portion of the autonomous robot to be working. Finally, Daniel programmed the autonomous portion for robot EVA UNIT 13, while Kyle coded the autonomous portion for MARK 1.
