At Cwmcrwth Farm we aim to offer autism friendly holidays to families with children and adults on the autism spectrum. We regularly host families with a wide selection of learning disabilities and autism. Including ADHD and Aspergers syndrome, children who attend special schools and adults living in supported housing.
What all the families have in common is a wish for a relaxed holiday for ALL the family. We understand parents find it a challenge to find family friendly and autism friendly holidays to suit everyone’s needs. Often parents feel on edge not wanting to be judged by others, not wanting to let their children down and hoping everything will be perfect. We can’t promise perfection but we will do our best!
Our small farm in a quiet rural location is ideal for children and adults with autism. There is no constant background noise and no loud noise. We have lots of outdoors space to let off steam and friendly animals to visit whenever you wish. As we only have 3 cottages, there are never more than 12 other guests in addition to your family group.
Our ethos is very relaxed and we do our best to support families.
Working Farm Holiday Cottages In the heart of Rural WALES
Children can farm with us for real and play all day, while parents relax and enjoy their own holiday. We also organise several sports activities including cycling, walking and horse riding.
Over the years we have been host and hostess to innumerable children, some of whom have special needs for different reasons and to varying degrees including challenging behaviour, but rest assured that they are always welcome here and we will do our utmost to ensure that they and their parents can enjoy their holiday.
What goes for children also goes for adults. To be accepted by other people and to be able to mingle with them, farming with them and socializing with them in the Club House or by the general BBQ or for an EASTER, XMAS or NEW YEAR celebration, could recharge them with confidence and make them very happy for a long time.
The traditional old stone barns and watermill have all been lovingly converted into cosy self-catering cottages to a high standard, four of which have disabled access for wheelchair users.
A unique holiday venue providing self catering holiday accommodation which is fully accessible for groups, organisations and families whose members have special needs.

We are open throughout the year for long or short stays.
The aim of the Trust is to continue the vision of Mr & Mrs Davis, to establish and run accommodation and leisure facilities for all people, especially children, with special needs.
These consist of the Holiday Centre and part of the Ty Glyn Estate, which has a restored walled garden, woodland walk and river frontage on the Aeron River, all accessible for wheelchair users.
The centre is able to welcome individuals, their families, friends and carers with any sort of physical or learning disability.
Offering self catering accommodation in a safe, non judgemental environment. The aim is to provide an autism-specific relaxing holiday for the whole family. Our cottage holiday home sleeps up to 6 people.
Autism Family Holidays is a small family business run by Will and Andi who have a long history of working with young people on the autism spectrum and their families. We specifically cater for families/care providers who find it difficult to take individuals on holiday due to their autism and complex behavioural needs.
Andi has taught young people with additional needs for over 30 years. We have both spent about 15 years providing respite care for young people with additional needs and autism which has helped towards us having some understanding of the difficulties faced by families who have a child with a hidden disability.
Our experience led us to take early retirement in order to focus on Autism Family Holidays.
