Possible Student Activities While on Placement:
Students can assist with individual/ group programming, daily needs, setting up visual strategies, socialization goals, etc.
Students can also assist with daily routines, but should not be involved in toileting, lifts, etc., since these skills are not taught in our program and their instructors have not evaluated students on these skills.
Students should not be left alone with the individual they are supporting. The Fanshawe Student can work with the individual independently, as long as an employee is nearby (for liability purposes).
