Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to the Authenticator App: 2FA mobile application (“Application”) operated by Solid Apps L.L.C-FZ (“Service Provider”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
By downloading, accessing, or using the Application, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully before using the Application. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Application.
1. Use of the Application
The Application is designed to help you generate and manage time-based one-time passwords (TOTP) for two-factor authentication.
You are responsible for adding, managing, backing up, syncing, and protecting your authentication entries and any related recovery methods. The Application does not replace the recovery options provided by the services you use.
2. License
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Application on your mobile device for personal or internal business purposes.
You may not:
copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent, lease, or sublicense the Application;
reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract the source code of the Application, except where such restriction is prohibited by applicable law;
create derivative works based on the Application;
remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices;
use the Application in any unlawful or unauthorized way.
All rights not expressly granted to you under these Terms are reserved by Solid Apps L.L.C-FZ.
3. Your Responsibility for Authentication Data
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device, authentication entries, backup codes, passwords, recovery methods, iCloud account, and access to the Application.
If you lose access to your device, delete the Application, reset your device, disable iCloud sync, remove authentication entries, or lose access to your iCloud account, you may lose access to your one-time passwords.
We may not be able to restore your authentication entries or help you regain access to third-party accounts.
We strongly recommend keeping backup codes and recovery methods provided by the services you protect with two-factor authentication.
4. iCloud Sync and Backup
The Application may offer iCloud sync or backup functionality to help you keep authentication entries available across your Apple devices.
If iCloud sync or backup is enabled, the Application may store and sync your authentication entries through your personal Apple iCloud account. This data is stored in your private iCloud environment and is controlled by your Apple ID and iCloud settings.
Solid Apps L.L.C-FZ does not have server-side access to authentication entries stored in your private iCloud account and cannot view, restore, modify, or delete them for you.
iCloud sync and backup depend on your Apple ID, iCloud settings, device settings, network connection, and Apple services. We do not control Apple iCloud infrastructure and are not responsible for iCloud availability, iCloud account access, Apple ID issues, sync conflicts, or data loss related to iCloud.
Your use of iCloud is governed by Apple’s own terms and privacy policies.
5. Face ID Lock and Device Security
The Application may offer Face ID, Touch ID, passcode, or similar device-based lock features to help protect access to the Application.
Biometric authentication is handled by your device operating system. We do not receive, store, or process your Face ID or Touch ID biometric data.
The Application may not function correctly if your device is jailbroken, rooted, compromised, outdated, or affected by malware. We strongly advise against jailbreaking, rooting, or otherwise modifying your device in a way that may weaken its security.
6. Third-Party Services
The Application may be used together with third-party websites, apps, platforms, or services that support two-factor authentication.
We are not responsible for the availability, security, account recovery process, authentication settings, or policies of any third-party service. Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms and policies.
7. Charges and Subscriptions
Some features of the Application may require a paid subscription.
Any prices, subscription terms, trial periods, renewal terms, and available paid features will be shown before you confirm a purchase.
Payments, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are handled through the Apple App Store according to Apple’s rules and policies.
Deleting the Application does not automatically cancel an active subscription. You must cancel subscriptions through your Apple App Store account settings.
8. Availability and Updates
We may update, modify, improve, suspend, or discontinue the Application or any part of it at any time.
You may need to install updates to continue using the Application. We do not guarantee that the Application will always be compatible with every device, operating system version, iCloud configuration, or technical environment.
If you choose not to install available updates, some features may not work correctly or may become unavailable.
9. Intellectual Property
The Application, including its software, design, interface, text, graphics, trademarks, logos, and other materials, is owned by or licensed to Solid Apps L.L.C-FZ and is protected by intellectual property laws.
Nothing in these Terms grants you any rights to use our trademarks, logos, branding, or other intellectual property except as necessary to use the Application in accordance with these Terms.
10. Disclaimer
The Application is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
We work to make the Application useful and reliable, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure in all circumstances, or available at all times.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for loss of access to third-party accounts, loss of authentication entries, loss of backup codes, iCloud sync issues, device failure, user error, third-party service issues, or any consequences resulting from your failure to maintain recovery methods.
Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded or limited.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Solid Apps L.L.C-FZ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of access to accounts, loss of profits, business interruption, iCloud-related issues, or device-related issues arising from or related to your use of the Application.
Our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Application shall be limited to the amount you paid for the Application in the 12 months before the claim arose, or the minimum amount required by applicable law, whichever is greater.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Application if you breach these Terms, misuse the Application, or use it in a way that may harm us, other users, or third parties.
You may stop using the Application at any time by deleting it from your device. Upon termination, your right to use the Application ends.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make changes, we will post the updated Terms in the Application, on our website, or through another appropriate method.
The updated Terms will become effective on the date stated in the updated version. Your continued use of the Application after the updated Terms become effective means that you accept the updated Terms.
