This Privacy Policy explains how Solid Apps L.L.C-FZ (“Service Provider”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and protects information in connection with the Authenticator App: 2FA mobile application (“Application”).
By using the Application, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Application.
1. Overview
The Application is designed to help you generate and manage time-based one-time passwords (TOTP) for two-factor authentication.
Authentication codes are generated on your device. We do not use the Application to access your third-party accounts, passwords, messages, emails, or the content of the services you protect with two-factor authentication.
2. Authentication Data
The Application may allow you to add authentication entries manually or by scanning a QR code.
Authentication entries may include information such as the service name, account label, issuer name, secret key, and related technical information required to generate one-time passwords.
This authentication data is used to generate TOTP codes in the Application.
Unless iCloud sync, backup, or another clearly described feature is enabled, authentication entries are stored locally on your device.
If iCloud sync or backup is enabled, authentication entries may be uploaded from the Application to your personal Apple iCloud account and synced across your Apple devices. This data is stored in your private iCloud environment and is controlled by your Apple ID and iCloud settings.
Solid Apps L.L.C-FZ does not have server-side access to authentication entries stored in your private iCloud account and cannot view, restore, modify, or delete them for you.
We do not sell your authentication data.
You are responsible for keeping your device, Apple ID, iCloud account, backup codes, and recovery methods secure.
3. Face ID, Touch ID, and App Lock
The Application may offer Face ID, Touch ID, passcode, or similar device-based lock features to help protect access to the Application.
Biometric authentication is handled by your device operating system. We do not receive, collect, store, or process your Face ID or Touch ID biometric data.
The Application only receives the result of the authentication process, such as whether access was approved or denied.
4. Information We May Collect
The Application may process limited information to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the service. This may include:
device information, such as device model, operating system version, app version, language, and region settings;
technical and diagnostic information, such as crash logs, performance data, and error reports;
app usage information, such as features used, screens viewed, session duration, and interaction events;
purchase or subscription information, if the Application offers paid features;
information you choose to provide when contacting us, such as your email address, message text, screenshots, or support details.
The Application does not collect precise location data from your device.
5. How We Use Information
We may use information described in this Privacy Policy to:
provide and maintain the Application;
generate and manage authentication codes on your device;
support iCloud sync or backup functionality, where enabled;
provide Face ID, Touch ID, passcode, or app lock functionality;
improve app performance, reliability, and user experience;
diagnose bugs, crashes, and technical issues;
provide customer support;
manage paid features or subscriptions;
prevent abuse, fraud, or misuse of the Application;
comply with legal obligations.
6. Third-Party Services
The Application may use trusted third-party service providers to support app functionality, analytics, diagnostics, subscriptions, payments, infrastructure, or customer support.
These third-party providers may process limited technical, diagnostic, usage, purchase, or support-related information according to their own privacy policies and data processing terms.
We do not allow third-party service providers to use your authentication data to access your third-party accounts.
7. Legal Disclosure
We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or a valid government request.
We may also disclose information when we believe in good faith that it is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, prevent abuse, or respond to security or technical issues.
8. Data Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
Authentication entries stored locally on your device remain on your device unless you delete them, delete the Application, reset your device, or use a feature that changes how they are stored.
Authentication entries synced or backed up through iCloud may remain in your personal iCloud account according to your Apple ID and iCloud settings. Solid Apps L.L.C-FZ does not have server-side access to authentication entries stored in your private iCloud account. You can manage iCloud data through your device and Apple account settings.
Support requests and information you provide manually may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your request, maintain business records, resolve disputes, or comply with legal obligations.
Technical, diagnostic, usage, and purchase-related data may be retained according to the retention settings and policies of the relevant service providers.
9. Your Choices and Rights
You can stop further collection of information by uninstalling the Application.
You can manage or disable iCloud sync and backup through your device settings, Apple ID settings, or the settings available in the Application, where provided.
You can enable or disable Face ID, Touch ID, passcode, or app lock features through your device settings or the settings available in the Application, where provided.
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold about you. You may also have the right to object to or restrict certain processing, request data portability, or withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

Please note that if authentication entries are stored only locally on your device or in your personal iCloud account, we may not have access to them and may not be able to retrieve, modify, or delete them for you.
10. Children’s Privacy
The Application is not intended for children under 13 years of age, or any higher minimum age required by applicable law.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. If you believe that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at office@solidapps.ai and we will take appropriate steps to delete such information where required.
11. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information processed in connection with the Application.
However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
Because the Application may store authentication entries on your device or sync them through your iCloud account, you should keep your device and Apple ID protected with a passcode, biometric authentication, two-factor authentication, operating system updates, and other available security features.
12. International Data Transfers
Some service providers may process information in countries outside your country of residence. Where required by applicable law, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers, such as data processing agreements, Standard Contractual Clauses, adequacy decisions, or other legally recognized mechanisms.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will post the updated Privacy Policy in the Application, on our website, or through another appropriate method.
The updated version will become effective on the date stated at the top of this Privacy Policy. Your continued use of the Application after the updated Privacy Policy becomes effective means that you accept the updated version.
