One of the spaces I was given to use was the Automotive Collison Repair Building (ABR) which sits directly across the campus street (what I call Auto Road) from the east side entrance of the automotive building.
It has one classroom, an open shop in the center, a small tool room, a reception area (shown to the right), instructors office, and a drive thru paint booth and prep area. There are three high bays on the north and two high bays on the south side with one on the east side of the building.
was to prepare the building for the temporary relocation of the automotive program. However close to perfect the space appeared, it would still need some things.
For example, since we were going to bring over 6 lifts, we added exhaust systems (shown left) and a new electrical panel; the lifts and exhaust reels are so close to the gas heaters (shown right), we had them turned off and added new heaters (also shown right); added auto-shut offs and Co2 sensors.
