Special Operations Command Selection Process

To become apart of the Australian Special Operations Command, there are three paths in which you may take to become apart of the Special Operations Command:
Application: You able to apply for a potential position within the Special Operations Command, however, you will be required to go through the whole selection process but you are able to skip both becoming apart of the Infantry or filling an application at a SOCOMD Recruitment announcement.
SOCOMD Recruitment: You can participate in a SOCOMD Recruitment that is announced in the Australian Army Discord, during the SOCOMD Recruitment, you will have to simply answer a few questions and fill in an admission form, upon completing it, your recruiter will notify you if your application has been accepted or not. Doing the Recruitment will give you a certificate in which you will take to a SOCOMD Selection announcement in the Infantry Corps discord.
Service: By service, we mean joining the the Royal Australian Infantry Corps and then enlisting into the Royal Australian Regiment, serving for at least 1 month. After doing this you can attend a SOCOMD selection.
If you had managed to follow any of the three paths, you will then be able to attend a SOCOMD Selection. Many Selections are hosted within the Royal Australian Infantry Corps discord. The SOCOMD Selection is an extremely hard selection and the most demanding by many Australian Army soldiers, it is also the hardest selection within the Australian Army apart from the Intelligence Corps, the Special Operations Command only accepts those from the Royal Australian Regiment. The Special Operations Selection goes on through 3 stages. The first stage consist of the physical screening test, here you will be tested physically and mentally, along with the physical test, you will be quickly evaluated on FPS combat at the end.
The Special Operations Qualifcation Course is the 2nd Stage of the Special Operations Command Selection process. During the Special Operations Qualification Course, Candidates will be tested on a series of task in which the instructor will set for them to be evaluate on. This may include breaching, providing first aid, warfare communication and basic infantry. Upon completing the Qualification Course, you will be required to fill an Admission Form. Within the Admission form contains basic knowledge and question answering.
The Special Operations Training Centre is the 3rd Stage of the selection process. Here candidates will now learn the Advance techniques and tactics used by the Special Operations Command. Candidates will have to complete a total of 6 phases along with a final exam to test if candidates have been focusing and taking note of what were learnt throughout the phases. Upon completing the exam, you will be offically apart of the Special Operations Command under the title of Novice Operater. From here on you will be required to attend a Special Operations Command regimental tryout.
Once you have completed the selection process, you will officially become apart of the Special Operations Command, you will be ranked Awaiting Placement (AP) in which you must attend a SOCOMD Regimental tryout. These regiments include Special Air Service Regiment (SASR) 1st Commando Regiment (1Cdo Regt) and 2nd Commando Regiment (2Cdo Regt). Both SASR and 2Cdo Regt are active duty regiments, the 1st Commando Regiment however is a reserve.
