The Edeia (plural: Edeia, pronunciation [ee-DAY-uh]) are a species of spirits - manifestations of abstract concepts that have magical abilities based on their Idea.
They are born from the power of ideas - many used to be human, but any creature can become one. Those who have that potential will have an Idea, a concept they identify strongly with, and magical abilities associated with it. Through the discovery and exploration of their identity as well as attunement to their Idea, those beings will Actualize - their physical body is consumed and replaced with one composed entirely of their own magic.

P H E L I O N
CLOSED SPECIES | SCI-FIP H E L I O N
The Phelions (singular: Phelion) are a closed species of mine. They are symbiotic biomechanical entities, largely humans who have fused with a fragment of a mysterious meteor of alien origins that exploded into countless fragments over Earth many years ago.

U M I N
CLOSED SPECIES | SCI-FI/FANTASYU M I N
Umin are small (about the size of a house cat) but resilient aliens that are often found wandering throughout space. They are sustained by a magic crystal known as a kor from Namu, their home planet, that they must consume in their youth; it is the only thing they consume in their lives. The kor's color and nature determines what color their underbelly becomes and what magic they are capable of.

The Ecliptic universe, referred to as Ekleios in-lore, is a world of Light and Darkness, Angels and Demons, but also those in between —the Oscuraphim and Lumions. Light and Darkness are always in balance, and neither is inherently evil. The Oscuraphim (singular: Oscuraph) and Lumions (singular: Lumion) are both closed species. They are beings who stand between Darkness and Light, they are both and neither. Angels and Demons are semi-open species in this world.

C E L E I A N

Celeians are beings born among stars, from starlight and stardust and void. Many wander the galaxies, as timeless as the stars themselves.
They first originated from the Starfall universe, but as they traversed the different dimensions and exposed the universes to their celestial energy, they became able to form in other dimensions as well.

Affiliate species are species created by others, affiliated with one or more species of the Auspicium! If you would like to affiliate your species, please see details at the bottom of this page.

Guluriums, or Gulus for short, are a tall, magical species with gem/stone skin and emotive mask-like faces. They are well versed with magic as well, powerful Guluriums possessing many types of magic they learned the longer they live. The species can exist anywhere and everywhere as well! You can see the full species info on the species document here.
Guluriums can be used as pre-Actualized individuals for Edeia; that is, an Edeia's previous form can be a Gulurium, and they can have a corresponding hybrid form equivalent to the humanoid form of other Edeia. You must own both an official Gulurium and an official Edeia in order to do so. Guluriums who Actualize into Edeia may or may not still have a "one-timeline" existence, depending on them; that is, Gulurium who Actualize can have a counterpart Gulurium alternate version exist.
Note: After Actualization, they are not classified as Guluriums. They can adopt a Gulu-shape (a convincing Gulurium-like form that can blend into Gulurium societies), but their magic would give traces that reveal that they are an individual who has shed their old self to embrace a new one.

Becoming an Affiliate
Becoming an Affiliate
If you would like to become an affiliate, please contact Auspice. Here are the requirements:
The species must be a public species that others can join in, semi-open or closed.
The species owner must be at least somewhat active as a member of the Ideation community. This is determined by Auspice, and may include factors such as chatting activity, character development, participation in official events, etc.
The species must have established lore and characteristics that are accessible publicly, whether on its own site, Toyhou.se, or elsewhere. Species that are major works-in-progress and not publicly accessible will generally not be considered.
Species that are more established and active with adopts, events, and community activity are preferred.

Major events (which do not include regular adopts, regular prompts, etc.) can get an announcement in the Auspicium Discord —contact Auspice for any announcements you'd like to make. Generally, only 1-2 per year per affiliate species.
