Professional Development

Our Professional Development Committee helps our club connect with beauty professionals and build relations with companies and partners! We aim to teach our members how to navigate the professional side of the beauty industry with our workshops, speaker panels, and networking sessions and assist them in finding opportunities that can aid them in beauty-related careers. Whichever role you intend to pursue within the beauty industry, our PD Committee is here to support you in to grow your career!

Currently, we are working on setting up a speaker panel consisting of several different beauty professionals with various roles in the industry. We are hoping that with a speaker panel, members will be able to get one-on-one experience talking to beauty professionals to learn about the different paths someone can take to enter the industry and also seek advice from mentors.

The professional development committee offers events like workshops and speaker panels where general members can learn about how to develop their own personal brand, explore career opportunities, and gain input and advice from professionals and peers.
