Aurora is a landlocked municipality in the coastal province of Isabela.

The municipality has a land area of 115.56 square kilometers or 44.62 square miles which constitutes 0.88% of Isabela's total area. Its population as determined by the 2020 Census was 36,621. This represented 2.16% of the total population of Isabela province, or 0.99% of the overall population of the Cagayan Valley region. Based on these figures, the population density is computed at 317 inhabitants per square kilometer or 821 inhabitants per square mile
