I am a Postdoctoral Scholar in the Behavioral Decision Making area at the UCLA Anderson School of Management.
My research is at the intersection of behavioral and development economics, particularly focusing on individual beliefs, aspirations, and decision-making. My current projects study the social and behavioral barriers, investigating the influences that role models, strategic information dissemination, and AI-driven technology can exert in overcoming these barriers. Methodologically, my research primarily leverages field experimentation and survey data collection, enhanced by the application of causal machine learning techniques.Â
I received my Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Washington in 2025, and my B.S. in Statistics from the University of Science and Technology of China in 2018.
