Nikolai Perov Curriculum Vitae 

Nikolai Perov - works in Lomonosov MSU since 1977, PhD in magnetism - 1986, DrSc in magnetism - 2009, visiting experience - Tohoku university, Toyohashi university of technology, National University of Singapore, Duisburg-Essen university. Nowadays he is the head of the magnetism department of Lomonosov MSU. Member of Russian magnetic society since 1996, since 2016 – chair. Member of IEEE, Magnetic society since 2002. Research interests are in investigation of magnetic properties of smart and intelligent materials, nanostructured and nanocomposite materials.

Alexander Samardak Curriculum Vitae

Prof. Alexander Samardak currently works in a position of Vice-President for Research in Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU) in Vladivostok, Russia. He also serves as a Leading Researcher in the international laboratory of spin-orbitronics of Institute of High Technologies and Advanced Materials of FEFU. He is a member of IEEE, the Russian Magnetic Society, and the Asian Union of Magnetic Societies. 

He received the specialist diploma (with honors) in 2000, Ph.D. degree (2003) and Doctor of Science degree (2019) in Physics in FEFU (Vladivostok). From 2006 to 2009, he was a Research Officer in the NanoScience Group (Prof. Alain Nogaret) of University of Bath (U.K). In 2009, he joined the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (Norway) as a Researcher. In 2010, he joined the Department of Physics of Münster University (Germany) as a Researcher in the Prof. Sergei Demokritov’s group. In 2017, he joined the Center for Spin-Orbitronic Materials in Korea University (South Korea) as a Research Professor in the Prof. Young Keun Kim’s group. In 2019, he worked in the Prof. Mathias Klaui’s group in Mainz University (Germany). He has authored more than 120 articles, 10 inventions and 20 invited talks on the international conferences. His current research interests include nanomagnetism, spintronics, spin-orbitronics, sensorics, and artificial intelligence.

Dr. Samardak’s awards include the Bronze Medal of the Minister of Education and Science of the Russian Federation for winning the contest "Young Organizer in Science, Education and High Technologies" (2005), the Gold Medal in the International Competition of Young Scientists in Nanotechnologies (2011), the Best Young Scientist of Russia (2014), the Science Drive Program of Nobel Laureate Andre Geim Award (2015), the Gold Medal of the Seoul International Invention Fair (2016), the Best Research Team of FEFU (2018, 2020), the Scientific Leader of Russia (2020). He is an Editorial Board Member of Journal Advances in Nano Research, Journal of Superconductivity and Novel Magnetism, Physics of Metals and Metallography. He serves as an expert of the FP7 and Horizon-2020 EU programs, the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Israel Science Foundation, the Russian Science Foundation.
