Auguste Ride LLC (“Auguste Ride,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the Auguste Ride mobile application and related services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect information when riders, drivers, and other users access our services.

1. Information We Collect

Depending on how you use Auguste Ride, we may collect:

• Account information, including your name, email address, telephone number, password, profile photograph, and account type.

• Location information, including pickup location, destination, approximate or precise device location, route information, and driver location while online or completing a trip.

• Trip information, including ride requests, trip dates and times, mileage, estimated and final fares, cancellations, tips, and ride history.

• Payment and transaction information, including payment method, charges, refunds, and cash-payment records. Card information may be processed by an authorized third-party payment provider. Auguste Ride does not intend to store complete payment-card numbers.

• Driver and vehicle information, including driver’s license information, vehicle details, registration, insurance, inspection records, eligibility information, and background-check status where applicable.

• Communications and support information, including messages, calls initiated through the service, complaints, support requests, ratings, and feedback.

• Device and technical information, including device type, operating system, app version, IP address, diagnostic information, crash information, and security logs.

2. How We Use Information

We may use information to:

• Create and manage rider and driver accounts.

• Connect riders with available drivers.

• Calculate fares, routes, distances, and estimated arrival times.

• Provide navigation, trip tracking, safety, and customer-support services.

• Process payments, cash balances, tips, refunds, and driver earnings.

• Verify driver identity, eligibility, vehicle documentation, and compliance.

• Prevent fraud, misuse, unauthorized access, and unsafe activity.

• Maintain, troubleshoot, analyze, and improve the application.

• Communicate service updates, account notices, and support responses.

• Comply with legal, insurance, regulatory, and law-enforcement obligations.

3. Location Information

Location information is necessary for important ride-service functions, including identifying pickup and destination locations, locating available drivers, displaying routes, providing navigation, and monitoring active trips.

Depending on device permissions and the user’s role, the application may access location while the app is in use. A driver’s location may also be used while the driver is online or completing an active trip, as permitted by the device and disclosed by the application.

Users can manage location permissions through their device settings. Disabling location access may prevent certain Auguste Ride functions from working correctly.

4. How We Share Information

We may share information only when reasonably necessary with:

• Riders and drivers involved in a requested or active trip.

• Service providers supporting maps, navigation, hosting, communications, payments, identity verification, background screening, analytics, security, and customer support.

• Government authorities, regulators, courts, insurers, or law-enforcement agencies when required by law or necessary to protect rights and safety.

• A successor organization if Auguste Ride is involved in a lawful merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of business assets.

We do not sell users’ personal information.

5. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, loss, or misuse. However, no electronic storage or transmission system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Users are responsible for protecting their passwords and notifying Auguste Ride if they believe their account has been accessed without authorization.

6. Data Retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide our services, maintain business and transaction records, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, enforce agreements, and satisfy legal, tax, insurance, safety, and regulatory obligations.

Some information may be retained after an account is deleted when retention is required for legitimate legal, security, fraud-prevention, financial, or regulatory purposes.

7. Account and Data Deletion

Users may request deletion of their Auguste Ride account and associated personal information by emailing:

The request should include the user’s full name, telephone number, email address associated with the account, and a clear statement requesting account deletion.

We may need to verify the requester’s identity before completing the request. After verification, we will delete or anonymize information associated with the account unless certain information must be retained for legal, security, fraud-prevention, financial, insurance, or regulatory reasons.

8. User Choices and Rights

Users may review or update certain account information through the application or by contacting Auguste Ride. Users may also manage location, camera, notification, and other permissions through their device settings.

Depending on applicable law, users may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal information.

9. Children’s Privacy

Auguste Ride is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If we learn that such information was collected without appropriate authorization, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

10. Third-Party Services

The application may use or link to third-party services, including mapping, navigation, payment, identity-verification, background-screening, and communication providers. Those providers may process information under their own privacy policies and legal obligations.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when our services, technology, or legal obligations change. The updated policy will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date.
