Delegate Candidate Guidelines

(Subject to updates from MDP)

• Delegate candidates will be unaffiliated and will not represent any specific candidate.

• A 250‑word candidate statement will be included in a booklet distributed to all preregistered attendees.

• Candidates will have at least one hour prior to voting to circulate and speak individually with attendees.

• Candidates will not address the full gathering; please review candidate statements on the preregistration form.

Balloting Information

Voting will be conducted electronically via computer/phone, overseen by MDP representatives.

Most attendees will likely vote using their cell phones, but kiosks will be available onsite for anyone who needs them.

Venue Information

Voting will commence at 12 noon.

Onsite WIFI will be available.
No food will be available and no food from the outside is allowed.

Please bring your own water or non-alcoholic drinks in non-glass containers.

Additional Notes

• Candidate representatives may be present with registration materials.

• Law enforcement will be onsite.

• Members of the press may attend; video, audio, and photography may occur.

• We plan to have ASL interpreting present.
