United Engine Company Makers, Lansing
1912 Type B and F engines are seen with this tag. United continued to use "makers" on the tag until mid 1912 when they removed that word from the tag. It's possible they were facing some backlash since they didn't "make" the engines, other companies did.
United Engine Company Makers, Lansing
1912 Type F engines are seen with this tag as well as later Type A, C, S & H engines. The word "Makers" has been removed at this point. This was the final revision of the United tag and is seen on all engines through the end of production.
