EE653 Advance Power Electronics
In this course the application of electronics to energy conversion and control are presented. Topics covered include: state space modeling, analysis, and control techniques; design of power circuits including inverters, rectifiers, and DC-DC converters (non-isolated, isolated and Resonant); analysis and design of magnetic components and filters; and characteristics of power semiconductor devices; gate driver and snubber circuits. The feedback control of switch-mode power supplies is presented along with power conditioners and uninterruptible power supplies.
