My name is Audrey Snapka and I prefer to go by she/her. I'm from Albuquerque, New Mexico and I am currently studying Biology and Chemistry. I hope to attend Veterinary School after I complete my undergraduate studies. Ideally, I would love to live in a larger city like Denver or Seattle. I'm a bartender, but when I'm not at work I am often found going to live music shows or events around the city.

I thoroughly enjoyed ENGL 1120. As we were learning new skills, we were able to express ourselves creatively. I feel the ability to choose our own topics made for better quality work, as it was something we were enthusiastic about. Throughout this course I was able to elevate my research and formatting skills. While working on the research project, I was forced to read many medical journals and learn how formal papers should be formatted. I believe I still have some work to do on understanding citations. When citing various sources, I will likely always air on the side of caution and research exactly how it should be done. Learning to research before finalizing a topic will greatly benefit me in future classes. Some of my topic ideas for the annotated bibliography and research proposal would have been exceedingly difficult since existing information was scarce.
I am most proud of the review I wrote on Sleep Token. I was more invested, as I wanted to share with the audience why I find the band so intriguing. I feel as if it was my best work because I allowed myself the time for multiple reviews. I changed the language throughout the paper many times until I was satisfied that my message would be received the way I intended.
Thanks for checking out my work!
