Research interests and overview

I have received an MSc degree in applied mathematics, with a major in optimisation, from the Université Pierre et Marie Curie (UPMC, Paris VI, France) in September 2011.
I have completed a PhD in computer sciences at the Université Paris-Est Marne-la-Vallée (France) in June 2015, focusing on the development of accelerated optimisation algorithms to solve large scale inverse problems.
Between September 2014 and August 2015, I was a "attachée temporaire d'enseignement et de recherche" (equivalent of Research Associate position, with full lecturer teaching load) at the Université Paris-Est Marne-la-Vallée.
Between September 2015 and September 2018, I was a Research Associate  in the BASP group, in the Institute of Sensors, Signals and Systems (School of Engineering and Physical Sciences) at the Heriot-Watt University (Edinburgh, UK), where I developed scalable methods for astronomical and medical imaging.
In October 2018 I have been appointed as an Assistant Professor at the Heriot-Watt Univeristy (Edinburgh, UK), affiliated with both the Department of Actuarial Mathematics and Statistics (School of Mathematics and Computer Sciences) and the Institute of Sensors, Signals and Systems (School of Engineering and Physical Sciences). I have been promoted to Associate Professor in the same schools in August 2023.
