Noise Reducer ("the App," "we," "us," or "our") is published by Nextpixel Apps. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our iOS app.
By using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
Noise Reducer is designed with privacy in mind:
No account is required
The App does not connect to the internet — no network access of any kind
Your media is processed entirely on your device — we do not upload your videos or audio to any server
We do not use third-party AI cloud services — all enhancement runs locally on your iPhone or iPad
We do not sell your personal information
We do not use third-party advertising or analytics SDKs
The App may access content you choose to import or create, including:
Videos and audio files from your Photo Library, Files, or iCloud
Videos you record using the in-app camera
We do not require your name, email address, or other account information to use the App.
The App stores data locally on your iPhone or iPad, including:
Processed and original media files you choose to keep
Processing history (titles, dates, duration, thumbnails)
App preferences (appearance, language, haptics, onboarding status)
Counters used to decide when to show the optional App Store rating prompt
This information stays on your device unless you delete it or remove the App.
We do not collect or operate:
User accounts or login credentials
Location data
Contacts
Browsing history
Advertising identifiers for cross-app tracking
Analytics profiles tied to your identity
We use information only to provide the App's features, including to:
Import, process, and play your media
Save your processing history on your device
Remember your settings and language preference
Let you share enhanced files through the iOS share sheet
Occasionally request an App Store review through Apple's system dialog
We do not use your media for advertising, marketing to third parties, or training external AI models.
Noise reduction is performed entirely on your device using on-device audio processing and Apple system frameworks.
The App uses RNNoise, an open-source noise-suppression library bundled inside the app. The pre-trained model runs locally on your device. It is not a third-party AI cloud service, and no user data is sent to RNNoise's authors or any external AI provider.
Third-party AI services: None. We do not use OpenAI, Google AI, Apple Intelligence APIs, or any other external AI platform to process your media.
Your video and audio files are not sent to our servers. The App makes no network requests of any kind.
The App may request the following permissions. You can deny or revoke them in iOS Settings; some features may not work without them.

We access these only when you use the related feature.
The App uses:
Apple frameworks (e.g. AVFoundation, Photos, StoreKit) for media handling, storage, playback, and the optional in-app review prompt
The App does not connect to the internet. We do not integrate third-party authentication, payment processors, advertising networks, or cloud-based AI services.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
We may disclose information only if required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
When you use the iOS Share feature, you choose where to send your file (Messages, Mail, Files, etc.). Those apps and services are governed by their own privacy policies.
History and processed files remain on your device until you delete them in the App or uninstall the App.
App settings are stored in your device's local app storage.
Uninstalling the App removes locally stored App data from your device, subject to iOS behavior and any backups you maintain.
We do not retain copies of your media on our servers because we do not receive your media at all.
The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
The App is available in multiple regions. All processing happens on your device.
We use reasonable measures appropriate to a local-processing app. No method of storage is 100% secure. You are responsible for securing your device and backups.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information. Because we do not operate user accounts and do not collect your media on our servers, your data is under your control on your device. You can:
Delete history items in the App
Revoke permissions in Settings → Privacy & Security
Uninstall the App
California residents: we do not sell personal information as defined under the CCPA/CPRA.
EEA/UK users: our legal basis for processing is performance of the service you request and legitimate interests in operating and improving the App, where applicable.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
